MU wins millions for medicinal plant research
The University of Missouri has been awarded a $7.6 million grant to establish a botanical research center. The money, which comes from the National Institutes of Health, will allow a team of researchers to study the properties of plants and herbs to ultimately determine whether dietary supplements are effective.
